Building financial confidence across generations in Birmingham
What began as informal workshops for local families in 2019 has grown into a comprehensive financial education centre serving the greater Birmingham area. Our founders recognised a gap between academic financial theory and the practical knowledge people actually need to manage their money effectively.
Unlike traditional financial services that focus on selling products, our mission centres on education. We teach skills, not sales pitches. Every course is designed to leave participants more knowledgeable and more confident—whether they are eight years old or eighty.
Today, our team of 18 certified educators delivers programmes tailored to diverse audiences: schoolchildren learning their first budgeting concepts, young professionals navigating student loans and first mortgages, families aligning their financial goals, and retirees protecting their savings.
Principles that guide every lesson, every interaction, and every curriculum decision.
Financial education should not be a privilege. We offer sliding scale pricing and community scholarships to ensure cost never becomes a barrier to learning essential life skills.
Theory matters less than application. Every concept we teach comes with exercises, templates, and real-world scenarios that participants can use the same day they learn them.
Our goal is independence, not dependence. We succeed when our students no longer need us—when they can confidently analyse financial decisions on their own.
Our educators bring decades of combined experience from banking, accounting, financial planning, and education sectors. Each instructor holds relevant certifications and participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with evolving financial landscapes.
Every team member has completed formal financial education training and holds at minimum a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent qualification. Many have advanced degrees in economics, accounting, or related fields.
Beyond our scheduled courses, our team volunteers with local schools and community organisations. We provide free workshops during Financial Capability Week and partner with Birmingham City Council on youth financial literacy initiatives.
Several of our educators serve as guest lecturers at local universities, bridging the gap between academic finance and practical application for the next generation of financial professionals.
Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to refine existing knowledge, we have a course designed for your situation.
